New research on methamphetamine drug addiction

A new hope for methamphetamine drug addicts has emerged in the United States. The California Pacific Medical Center has began implementing new methods to overcome the barriers of methamphetamine abuse.
Methamphetamine abuse is currently treated using the traditional method of group counseling for several months. However, recent research has shown that meth addicts need to receive treatment differently compared to other drug addictions. The incorporation of a new experimental drug and counseling has proven to be a success with some of the clients.
The new methods implemented will hopefully change the direction of treatment in the future. Although it is still in the experimental stages, the medical center is determined to find the best solution to overcome the barriers of methamphetamine abuse.
